Dan's Biography

— Dan Delaney has dedicated his life to teaching piano and performing for more than 25 years. His education includes alumni of BERKLEE COLLEGE of MUSIC in BOSTON. Following Berklee Dan studied extensively with some of the top piano instructors in the world. Dan has been recognized with a wide range of accomplishments, ranging from extensive performances with National JAZZ Headliners, to his unique instructional methods on video and CD ROM which have commanded top reviews and television features. Dans dedication in the music field is carried over into his family life. As a father of 4 children and a strong commitment to wanting the best for his kids brings forth his newest project...PIANO FOR KIDS.

Below are some of the accomplishments Dan has made in the music industry:

• PIANO FOR KIDS - Over 200 pages of instruction with 3 hours of videos developed by Dan to teach his own 4 kids piano. Dan collaborated with 250 kids on the development of this curriculum designed for ages 5 to adult.
  
  
• PIANO INSTRUCTION - Over 300 pages of instruction with 12 hours of videos developed by Dan to teach piano to students over the age of 12. Dan has drawn from his library of advanced lessons to build this exciting curriculum .
  
  
• THE ADVANCED LIBRARY - Dan has put affordable advanced lessons on the internet for accomplished piano players who want to advance their skills as jazz and blues players.
  
  
• LEARN PIANO - 5 CD ROMS and 150 page book containing approximately one full year or more of piano instruction. Top review on The Learning Channel and other magazine publications.
  
  
• PERSONALIZED VIDEO PIANO - Study personally with Dan using his unique nationally recognized one-on-one video correspondence. Dan has been referred to as a pioneer in the music industry being one of the first in the world to develop such a program.
  
  
• THE SHADOW - Dan records his original composition live with well known Jazz horn player Charlie Jennison.

	Dan performs at the White Mountain Jazz Festival with nationally recognized Jazz vocalist Rebecca Paris and her quartet.
	Dan trio performs at The Roundtop Performance Center in Damriscatta Maine backing leader of the Artie Shaw Orchestra reed man Dick Johnson and recording artist Greg Abate.
	Dan performs with cousin Joe Delaney for a dueling piano concert in lobby presented at the Marriot Hotel Copley Place Boston for all the Marriot owners worldwide as they check in.
	Dan Delaney Quartet performs poolside in Sanibal Island Florida with his band from Boston.
	Dan performs with his trio for the music dept. at Boston University during a lecture/concert held in 1993.
	Dan prepares to record with his Jazz trio at Soundtrack Recording Studio in Boston.
	Dan performing solo piano for a packed house on Chebegue Island Maine.
	Dan appears nightly in the dining room at the White Mountain hotel and resort North Conway New Hampshire.
